Why was the civil war so long and so bloody? In 1860 the average American believed that they were living the happiest and luckiest a person could be. They were generally living better than their fathers, and looked forward to their children prospering more than themselves. However, at the time America had developed into two very different societies between the North and the South. These changing societies were beginning to adjust to the start of the industrial revolution in separate ways. In the North slavery had died out as it did not pay. However, in the South in had begun to prosper greatly. This was due to the invention of the cotton gin in 1793 which allowed large amounts of cotton to be raised using slave labour. These announcements were crucial to the Union as they gained support from the Negro communities and politically helped preserve the Union. Lee hoped that a victory in the north would help increase the peace movement which was gathering some support there. This, along with the weakening of the Union army, may initiate talks of surrender by the Federal Army. Cpu Internal Organisations Essay The input/output (I/O) interface, bus structures, microprocessor, memories and peripherals (also known as external or I/O devices) are the major components of a computer system. These components constantly trade information and instructions to complete assigned operations. With the exception of the peripherals, the ongoing communication between components is conducted within the system through interconnections or paths called buses.Peripherals such as keyboards, add-in cards (including frame grabbers), monitors, modems and printers are alternatively connected to the system through the I/O interface. The I/O connection features a communication line to send and receive data between the system and peripherals. Figure 1 illustrates the standard microprocessor-based PC architecture outlined above. Note: the peripherals link to the system through the I/O interface rather than directly through the systems host bus.The primary purpose of a systems host bus is to connect components and allow them to communicate. To achieve this, the host bus is composed of three types of communication lines. An address bus is a one-way path that allows the microprocessor to specify which of the various locations in the memories and in the I/O interface it is accessing. Using this path, the microprocessor can select a memory address from which to acquire or in which to store data. The CPU also queries the I/O interface and devices using the address bus to specify input and output locations. A data bus carries the actual data between the microprocessor, memories and the I/O interface. Because the data bus is bidirectional, information can be both sent and received on these lines. A control bus handles the arbitration and differentiation between data coming in and data going out of different components by transmitting read, write and other control signals.In evaluating bus architecture, our primary concern is with transfers occurring on the data bus. The data bus is responsible for moving the bulk of information that travels through a system. And the data bus design ultimately determines how efficiently that data will flow. Defining features of the data bus include the size or bandwidth of the bus, the speed of the bus, and the location of the bus within the system. It helps to think of the data bus as a gateway through which a certain amount of information can pass. The bus contains a clock that indicates the speed at which data can move through the gateway. The path size or width of the bus indicates the volume or quantity of data that can move through the gateway. The clock speed is measured in megahertz and the path size is measured in bits. The transfer rate brings these two variables together to represent how much and how fast data is moving at any given time. The transfer rate is usually indicated in megabytes per second.

In our case, we are using two methods of financing they are; debt financing and equity financing. Therefore, to choose the best method that our case company should apply conducting a critical analysis tends to be a vital part. In conduction of critical analysis, we will have to consider certain factors using the financial information provided. It is an important element that should be kept under consideration. Here, we look at the financial commitments that relate to a particular source of finance. This relates to what would happen if the firm borrows loans or consider using equity coming from shareholders (Lipman, 2016). Look at the firms financial leverage value debts stand at 1.54 and equity stands at 1.36. If the firms decides to borrow money for investment and the market seems to favor their investment the firms profits are likely to be higher than equity method of funding. Debt financing also allows the firm leverage small amounts of money into larger sums, meaning that the firm will be able grow rapidly. On the other hand funding, through debt as shown in the financial data time interest earned tends to be less that at equity funding. Cost of finance plays a critical role in financing decision. The concept here is lowering cost and maximizing wealth (Phelps, 2015). From our financial data, additional borrowing through debts requires compensation for risk. Hence, this means there will be increased cost of equity. Issuing of new shares may serve as a strategic shift of focus for the firm because in debts financing there is a higher price per share compared to equity financing (Phelps, 2015). In addition, the business relationship ends once the debt is paid back which means there will be growth in the firm. In general, the firm board plan on expansion should consider using the 15% interest rate debt because of the high financial leverage and the time interest earned is also less.
